I just want to see our head coach punch through the wall of his office out of anger. Does anybody know if Lazor was in an acapella singing group while at Cornell?
+1, I'd also like to place a trash can down on the sideline for him to kick over and yell, "i'm gonna lose my freaking mind."
I'm actually really starting to like the idea of bringing Lazor in. I do understand the question of him being dedicated to our mission. However, while I think we should stick to only hiring Christians, we can't get caught up into their denomination. We have calvinist, anglicans, methodist, baptist, and penticostal professors at our school. If we're letting those people teach at our school, I don't think we should be worried about whether our head football coach is a Catholic or Baptist. It's not like the guy is making administrative decisions or anything. Also, I happen to think that Catholics will be in heaven worshiping God with us.
I do think Lazor would be a great hire. There's several questions about our offense heading into next season and I think Lazor will help with that. My only worry is that he hasn't been a head coach before and that could mean some early growing pains. However, he definitely has the local name recognition to reel in top recruits and he obviously knows the quarterback position quite well.
