convinced at what? I am sure everybody agrees with you that the media over sensationalizes everything for the sake of ratings, but like I said earlier this is something that has been swept under the rug and hidden in closets for all too long. There are very few crimes in America where more times then not the victim has to defend themselves more so then the one accused. Its because people don't want to admit that this kind of thing is more common then they would like to think. It ruins their happy little lives.
So if we can get more info out there so people are just more aware of these kind of things I say its much better then talking about which celebrity cheated on who or whatever other crap is hot at the time...I am unsure of how any person that seriously knows people who has been abused could even think that this is something people shouldn't talk about.
I joke with you all the time, but as you can see this is something that clearly I am passionate about. Too much is left unsaid and it sickens and saddens me. So if the media want to make this known to people I say go for it.
