actually we got a sign on 2 or 3 years ago when Game Day was in Blacksburg. I can't remember what it said or who we were playing. So we're apparently College Gameday regulars.

After all the nauseating coverage that that network gave to that game, it was refreshing to see that banner displayed in full view at Bryant Denny Stadium. One day in my lifetime, ESPN will be at Liberty for College Gameday. One can only dream right?

My first post!

They took the sign away from us because we had Libertys twitter handle on there. We tried to hide it as long as we could but as you can see in the screen shot it was easy to see. Right when we got there a girl came up to use and told us that they were taking away signs that had anything to do with advertisement or twitter but we didn't have anything to take the @ symbol away.

I was so happy that it got on as much as it did. We did a little scouting the night before and knew that right behind Herby would be a good place to be.

Here's a thought. Why does this not happen more?! Gameday goes all over the country and we have alumni all over the country. If gameday is coming to your town get your butt out of bed and go represent LU! This def helps with recruiting! Seeing a Liberty sign on the biggest college football show in the country is awesome. I would love to see it more often.

Oh and my cousin was the one who took the LU sign to gameday in Blacksburg.

The other half of "the sign" here, and I agree with KD19! More people need to show some Liberty support on one of the most watched College Football shows out there! It would be like those Washington State flags that are flying in the background every Saturday.

I nearly was going to pull off a similar tactic this Saturday morning here in Houston. But my son has TKD testing followed by a football doubleheader. There is zero chance I can break away from any of it if I wanted to. And I don't.
