one final attempt before I retire for the evening.

I'm thinking of 4 programs that you guys probably keep an eye on:

E. Washington (last years nat'l champs): Lost today to Montana, are 0-3 this season

Villanova (CAA, perenial playoff contender, past nat'l champ): Lost to MONMOUTH (are you freakin' kidding?), are 0-3 this season

William & Mary (CAA, we love to hate them nearly as much as JMU): BARELY beat New Haven by 3. A DII team. REALLY.

we win out and you guys will get over this one, and probably need new pants

I just got back from the game...it really was about missed opportunities on offense tonight. If we cash in something on those 3 possessions where we came away with no points, this is a different game. I think my theory held true tonight as well...LU didnt get off to a fast start and we gave JMU a chance to play us even in the first 10 possessions. I said that if it was a low scoring/close game, itd favor the Dukes...thats what we got, then when the offense picked up, JMU had the confidence (and the passing game) to make the right plays when they needed to be made.

BYD I have to disagree with you though...you want to jump ship, I'll find a life boat for you and jbock.

I appreachate the offer, but I won't even be getting on the boat BJ. I'm sick of looking for the good in everything. WE LOST. That's all that matters.

Hayes looked great. Ditto for Kelly. Still think Summers needs to ramp it up... looks like he's on auto-pilot out there, and not in a good way.

I noticed Chris was jawing at MB pretty often. He was not happy with the lack of throws. Mike wouldn't even look on his side of the field for a series it seemed like.

Wow guys, I can understand the frustration but don't be so down on yourselves. Brown was tremendous (I hope you have a good one lined up to replace him next year), and the receivers were ballers. Everything looked first class for you guys except the outcome. You've won a lot of respect from JMU fans.

High expectations are good, but perspective is better. Good luck the rest of the way.

the video board looked frickin' sweet on TV. wish I couldve seen it in person.

and props to the crowd - looked and SOUNDED fantastic. May have been the loudest I've EVER heard at an LU game (on tv)
