Looks like this kid is starting to get some major attention. Hopefully the family ties will bring him to LU. He is a a stud athlete and a playmaker that could really help us out.

Offers:
Liberty
Samford
Florida International
Western Michigan
Iowa State
Furman

Looks like Wisconsin and Florida are on the brink of offering as well.

According to Rivals, he has chosen to go after football. Headed to Georgia, Auburn and Alabama this weekend.

ESPN.com wrote:TE Culkin catching on

A prospect that stood out at Dawg Night was tight end Sean Culkin (Indian Rocks Beach, Fla./Indian Rocks Christian). Culkin (6-5, 215) was impressed with Georgia.

"Dawg Night was great," Culkin said. "Coach Richt is a cool guy and I really enjoyed speaking with him. The whole thing was a lot of fun with lots of competition. The one-on-ones were a lot of fun. Coach [John] Lilly is a really cool guy and that's big for me because he's the tight ends coach. He really stood out in the meeting room and on the field."

Did Culkin walk away with a Bulldog offer?

"No, I am not sure where I stand," Culkin said. "They seem very interested and said they will get back to me. We'll see what happens and go from there."

On Staurday, Culkin camped with Auburn. Like in Athens, he liked what he saw with the Tigers.

"Just like Georgia I had a lot of fun at Auburn," Culkin said. "It was a really fun camp and I thought I played very well. I like that coaching staff a lot and I had a chance to speak with their offensive coordinator [Gus Malzahn] for a while. I just know Auburn already has a couple of tight end commitments so it could be a numbers game with them."

Culkin has had a really busy summer. He already has been to Florida International, USF, Florida, Wisconsin and Northwestern. This week he's camping at Samford, Alabama and Florida.

"This was the summer to make a name for myself and get better," Culkin said. "I will enjoy the summer later. Right now I have offers from Samford, Iowa State, FIU, Furman, Liberty and Western Michigan. I would be happy to go to any one of these schools recruiting me."

As a junior, Culkin caught 29 passes for 547 yards and 10 touchdowns last season.

6-5/220, LARGO (FLA.) INDIAN ROCKS CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
The under-the-radar tight end is quickly making a name for himself on the camp circuit. He followed up a strong showing at Dawg Night with another solid performance at Friday Night Lights. Culkin is an excellent option in the passing game as he can get down the field quickly and does a great job bringing the ball in with his large hands. He would be an excellent option to flex out in a pass-happy offense. Where he has to develop to become a complete tight end is as a blocker, where he needs to add additional strength and girth.

Florida International's upset of Louisville the other night certainly didn't hurt their chances with Sean. But he remains undecided ...

Florida International opened their season on Thursday with a victory against North Texas. On Saturday, they were hoping to earn another victory off the field when they had Largo (Fla.) Indian Rocks Christian tight end Sean Culkin on campus for a visit.

Recently visited Florida for whom he is a lifelong fan. Apparently they haven't offered yet and he want to wait out the process. Frankly I get the feeling that if Florida doesn't offer, we have a legitimate shot at him.

Yeah, if Florida doesn't offer then we have a good chance. He is currently the 2nd best un committed TE in the country. Kent Taylor (#1) and then Sean (#20). If Kent waits till signing day to sign it will be good for Liberty. If he commits earlier then all the schools who did not get Kent will most likely offer Sean. They are almost the same exact player. Kent with just a little more experience. This would be a HUGE sign for Liberty.

Sean is headed to frigid Ames, Iowa this coming weekend to check out Iowa State who has already offered him. He tweeted over the weekend that he was watching the Flames on TV.

BYD, yes we just got by Presbyterian but I think that we showed something with that performance (as bad as it was) on Saturday. When a prospect is watching you and you find a way to win when your back's against the wall (no matter the opponent) then that shows him that this team has resolve and that can be an advantage not a detriment

I gotta think if he comes here it isn't so much our performance on the field but rather his past experiences here, his brother here, and his personal beliefs.
