Agreed...excellent job. Its too bad about Hudson though...but with the kind of guys that have been ahead of him, that is just the nature of the beast sometimes

I'm intrigued to see what happens between Henderson and Woodrum. Hate to see either one of those guys ride the pine for the better part of their career.

Chris Lang tweet re: Chris Summers: "Quick Liberty injury note: WR Chris Summers out at least 2-3 weeks with torn pectoral. No surgery. Hope is that rest, rehab heal it."

nick should have the red jersey off by saturday at the latest. he said first couple days were pretty painful, he had his shoulder jammed inwards while filling a hole and it just got collapsed on. his mom was freaking out when he called from the hospital needing the insurance info. heading down saturday to practice.

2-3 weeks for Chris which puts him as about a gametime decision for NC State...Im concerned but Im not reaching for my airsick bag like you are BYD (but maybe its just my inability to be pessimistic)

I agree. I'm starting to get to the point where I'll concede the NC State game, just get these guys healthy by RMU.

Im with manson...no way that they were thinking "hey, lets schedule NC State...theyll probably crush us but at least we get a nice check out of the deal!"

No team worth their salt would schedule a team and not have some expectation of winning. and Im sure that they STILL think they can win that game...will it be more difficult? Certainly....but I seriously doubt that they are overlooking this game or ANY of our non-conference games...

c'mon guys.

I still think we can win. and thats not homer. States Quarter back could throw more TD passes to our team than Mike brown does.

Glennons brother throwing to our stud DBs. I like our chances.

I agree...if we have Asa.

With Asa we can shut down their run (especially with their top RB out) and force them to pass. Force them to pass and we can win. That's the key to the game.

I think we put too much stock into our star players. With the kind of depth we have now, I would be shocked if we didn't have someone who could fill Asa's shoes quite nicely. This team is deep.

Schuster can. But who else do we have with experience on the DL?

Good point on the experience, but I still believe that we have a whole new breed of team. Our 2nd and 3rd stringers at most of our positions have the talent, strength, speed etc. to start or get quality PT. I know our O-line is a bigtime :?: but I'm confident in their abilities (I know I veered off topic a little bit with the O-line, but the point is the same).

63 vs. 63 we can play with almost anyone.

63 vs. 85 we're gonna come up short.

it's not a question of 1st string ability- it's a question of depth after that and who has more fresh talent in the 3rd/4th quarters.

False. 9/11/10. Liberty 27 Ball State 23.

I know Ball State isn't NC State, but still you're wrong shorty!

Bingo! Especially in the trenches, where a rotation necessitates a 2nd string nearly as sufficient as the first.
