100% agree. Although I disagree about that Galaraga's almost perfect game should have been changed. It is what it is, and honestly more people may remember that than they do other perfect games.
It's random, but I remember I said to my dad in the 3rd inning last year when the Rays played against Dallas Braden, "They keep playing like this, there may be a perfect game!!!"
Little did I know... I'd be right.
I just think that was my catalyst.. the straw that finally broke the camel's back... I mean Jim Joyce admitted he made the wrong call. the next guy got out. so it would be incredibly easy to expunge the hit and no major stats are changed.. and when Selig decided "I'm not changing anything because the moment was special"... it just made absolutely no sense...
though there are plenty of other times that he has screwed up (not letting Rose in the Hall is a big one for me as well)
Just think that he is really hindering the sport... I mean even "spicing" up the All-Star game and making it a home team advantage thing while good at first seems stupid now... I mean say overall the AL is down that year, but their is one team that is on fire and way out in front of everyone with wins. Now because the League in general is down they don't get home field advantage and basically all those wins mean nothing....
I guess the big thing is everything starts from the top... which is really what is hurting baseball at this point
