Must mean the infection in his foot hasn't healed. It's not good because JVP has played better since about the VMI game.

I wouldn't read too much into that. Players wear walking boots all the time even for minor injuries just to keep the pressure off the foot in between practices/games. Not saying he'll play, but the boot is not necessarily an indication that he won't.

John Brown will go down as one of my favorite players for the Flames. His role reminds me a lot of Leo Lightborne's stint with the Flames years ago. Rebounding, energy and the ability to come up with a big play to motivate the team.

I didn't know Maxwell for HPU quit recently. He was called for two flagrant fouls in the first VMI game, ejected, and plus the Tech foul on Cherry, those 6 (made ) FT's helped VMI to the win that particular night.
