We've lost to Laffy and Robert Morris over the past few seasons. We're in no position to say any of the north eastern conferences aren't that good.
, and Northern Iowa wasnt at the level they were last year that they have been (they were 2-3 and if not for their big winning streak would not have even MADE the playoffs).
That's a ridiculous statement. They changed QB's during the year and it ignited the talent already on that team.
We're in no position to say we're going to certainly win any of our OOC games except for the DII. All of them will be some degree of a challenge. I think RMU will likely be a win for the revenge factor, Rocco uses that well with his teams. Other than that, I can see us winning or losing the other FCS OOC games, and I don't see us beating the 'Pack in Raleigh. And you can't expect people to believe that we won't lose in conference. We do it every season, why should we expect this year to be different? SBU on the road will be a tough test for us.
NCSU, JMU, Lehigh, and a random Big South loss would be 4, and that's certainly not out of the question for this season. So yes, I looked at the teams we are playing and yes, I think we could lose 4 games. I think 1-4 losses is pretty much what to expect from this team, the consistency of the way the team plays and the ability to show up and play as well as we can EVERY WEEK and minimizing mistakes will be the difference between 1 and 4 losses.
