NO. 12 LIBERTY (7-2, 4-0 BIG SOUTH) AT COASTAL CAROLINA (4-5, 3-1)
Kickoff: 1 p.m.
Series record: Liberty leads, 4-3
What to know: After Liberty and Stony Brook, who both sit at 4-0 in Big South play, Coastal Carolina stands as the final team in the hunt for the conference's first-ever automatic FCS playoff bid.
In order to stay in the hunt, the Chants must defeat Liberty on Saturday.
Liberty has motivation of its own, though. The Flames, who are looking to start 5-0 in Big South play for the third consecutive season, have yet to lock up the conference title. They must continue to win, which they have done at an incredible clip in Novembers past. During the last five years, Liberty has posted a combined 12-2 record in the month of November.
Despite posting a 3-1 conference record, Coastal Carolina is 4-5 overall.
Under head coach Danny Rocco, Liberty is 20-3 against the Big South. If there are levels in the conference, Liberty rests at the top, while Coastal Carolina occupies the second tier. The Chants will be outmatched in this one.
Prediction: Liberty, 28-14
