The wife and I are going to see Stone Temple Pilots tonight with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club opening. Hoping for a good show but you never know what you're going to get with Scott Weiland. I'll post a review later.

I think you'll enjoy the first part of the show better. The new stuff I've heard from STP hasn't been good at all. BRMC, however, have been just awesome since day 1.

beyond the smashing pumpkins kickoff concert to their zeitgeist tour 2 years ago i haven't been to a good concert in about 7 years.

Thought the show was very good. Both opening bands were solid and STP put on a great show. There was very little stage banter, which is probably a good thing since Scott isn't exactly the most coherent person these days. I wouldn't exactly recommend seeing the because they are hit and miss, but I'm definitely glad we went. The setlist included pretty most of the songs I was looking to hear besides Lady Picture Show, Big Bang Baby and Creep.
