What the heck is going on with this offense. They need other QB's more touches and let Mike be a wideout and I like him there better because he performs better at that position. We need a more productive QB and JMU was ready for Mike and any scrambling he was going to do. Those are just my concerns. Its just me.
-There were a ton of "what if" moments out there: Dropped pass in the endzone, 4th and 1 call which led to their only TD, and the blocked FG.
-Summers is going to go nuts vs. the Big South.
-I liked how Rocco didn't sound happy about keeping it close.

I'm not really a huge fan of how often we're calling plays for him to run it or really our run game in general.I don't think Mike is as good as Tyler in terms of being a pure passer, but there's no doubt that Mike is the guy to run this offense right now. Tonight proved that. He was very accurate, his only "mistake" was the INT and that was a scramble (poor blocking) that he tried to force (because he had to).

They will ramble on and on about how they beat VT and they were just getting ready for the Delaware game next week, so they didn't try anything offensively that would tip their hand to the rest of the CAA. We also aren't good enough to make the playoffs and would be a bottom 3 team in the CAA.nice to see you too
Now I'm going to head over to CAAZone to see if I am right.

Converting key plays (3rd and 4th down), keeping contain against the other team's athletes, being consistent in your coverage, and dominating the line of scrimmage.Well said TTL
Definite props to Mike for his effort, I think it could have been a different game if he was able to do everything he normally does. But our line isn't good enough to open things up for our running backs at this point. So we need to be creative here, and not just bash into the same wall.
We did show a lot of guts and heart, and the defense, while it was the reason we lost on the scoreboard, really did all it could. A couple broken plays were the difference, but the offense should be able to overcome that (and it didn't). The defense eventually just got beaten up and couldn't stop them the last drive, and that was it.
Let's build from this, learn how to be more than just a good team, and let's earn a playoff spot!

Also, any given Saturday anything can happen.

I probably should have added "the sun will rise tomorrow" into my list of predictions, because pretty much everything I said was on there.
