Part of the football deal
The agreement also calls for two men's basketball games. Both basketball games are set for the Robins Center and will be played in December 2012 and as the Spiders' home-opener the following season. The teams have met twice previously, with Richmond winning 66-63 in Lynchburg in 1998, and Liberty taking a 64-61 double-overtime road decision in 1999.

Great deal as far as I'm concerned

I guess the title of the thread should be @ Richmond. They are an A10 bball school so a home and home would be a bit much. But perhaps a 2 for 1 could have worked. I'll take this though. It's worth it for the football games.

While a home-and-home would be great, we are talking about a short drive to Richmond where we have a big alumni fanbase. I love this deal. The more in-state games we can schedule with the URs, GMUs, VTs and UVas of the world the better.

I love this...It would be a great road game to show on the Flames Sports Network too! Right in my back yard.
