They are a rather cocky bunch... but the way they are playing right now and the way vt is not playing... i give em props!

JMU has looked fantastic all game, but they are really crapping their pants on this last drive. VT is just doing whatever they want. Reversing field, QB sneaks, whatever. And as I speak, VT fumbles. pffff

I'm hoping for a JMU win only because I hope that will knock Boise State out of the national championship hunt. I may be in the minority but I DON'T look forward to watching Boise play for the title...

The ACC is not looking good today, GT loses to Kansas the team that only scored 3 points against north dakota state last week. Jmu beat VT. And right now Florida State is getting beat 28-7 against Oklahoma

Boston College thought it looked sweet when it lied to the Big East and bolted years ago.

(I don't like Miami and VT, but its on-field rivalry. I despise everyone associated with BC for ths disingenuous and disloyal way they handled their realignment business years ago.)

without the National Championship we would be lucky to be competitive in the CAA

i cannot describe the overwhelming sense of joy I had today when the clock hit 00:00, but that win in 2004 completely changed the direction of our program and without it any stadium expansion/FBS plans might never come to fruition

as for today, I could not claim to describe our victory with simple words. all I can tell you is this: as a born and raised UVa fan, I certainly didn't think JMU would have any sort of chance today. Cynicism after years of a one sided rivalry clouded my judgment.

Wonder if JMU is ranked top 25 in the next poll seeing as they beat #13 by more than #3 beat them by - and more impressively. HUGE win for JMU and FCS as a whole.

They'll easily be ranked in the FCS poll, but in the AP they'll probably just be receiving votes.

JMU could be ranked #1. Although I think its more realistic they will be in the top 5.

App State #1
Nova #2
Jax State #3
JMU #4

We'll be somewhere in the top 15.
