Yeah, who came up with this one? Someone who obviously just wanted to talk about the new Kroger.

Never got the chance to go to the new Kroger, so it came down to Kroger in Boonsboro v. Kroger on Timberlake, and well Boonsboro won.

Smoothie, the one in Boonsboro is located next to Great Wall in that shopping center and the one on Timberlake is right behind TGIFriday's.

When I last lived in town Piggly Wiggly was where I shopped on Old Forest Rd. Obviously it must be long gone. I'll scratch it from list.
that must be the same location the kroger on old forest is now because that is where we use to go when we lived in town

No, I think the Piggly Wiggly on Old Forest Rd was next to Mud Puppies, where the new Walmart is being built.

When I first got to Lynchburg, there was a Piggly Wiggly next to Kmart, where Northern Tools is now.

I thought that was a Harris Teeter.

I thought Harris Teeter was on Timberlake behind Papa Johns, where Harbor Freight Tools is now. I don't know, I don't really know what the difference is. I can't believe we're even talking about this. Stupid supermarket poll.

That was Winn-Dixie. H-T was next to K-mart and also in the Waterlick Plaza which is now another Kroger. The only Piggly Wiggly I remember was on Memorial just before the Plaza, or maybe it used to be in the Plaza.

This thread reads like a bunch of senior citizens lost in Wal-Mart who can't locate the exits or a bathroom.

Well the waterlick Kroger is going to close in July, according to the WSET news

I went to the new Kroger in Forest this morning. Finally, the Forest folks have something to be proud of, because nothing on Rivermont or Boonsboro is as nice the new Kroger in my neighborhood. Big as a Wal-Mart, but I still loved it.

I picked up 2 hot lunch plates for Mrs. Cider and me: salmon for her and corned beef & cabbage for me. They also had a "wing bar" on Fridays, and on the other side were 6-8 different kinds of pre-made salads. And on one side were 4-5 different hot soups.
