“He’s given us everything he has on the field. He’s earned this reward just as much as everybody else has,” Rhoads said.

Schwartz, a 232-pound redshirt freshman, rushed for 264 yards on 71 carries in eight games. He visited NCAA I-AA Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., last week.

“He’s transferring down a division, he’s not making a lateral move to compete against us, so that played a part in his coming on the trip,” Rhoads said. “He wants to get to a level he’s more suited for, and I don’t hold a grudge with that.”

He'd be a very good pickup. Seems like a solid back. Hope you wind up here, J!

Indeed...our top 4 RBs next year (if this guy comes in) would be AA, SirChauncey, Korrey Davis and this guy...that's some serious thunder if you ask me

And they are all going to be Sophmores. Then you add Kevin Fogg, unless he is changing positions, in that class. I think he played on special teams this year so he did not redshirt...correct me if I am wrong. Add on top of that some one on here has posted several times that we are all going to be shocked at some stud running back walking on in the spring who was already in school this Fall. WOW that would be a lot of quality running backs...we would have to have the top RB crew in the country :D Now lets hope these linebackers come in!

Kevin Fogg played DB this year and will likely stay there.

No one has mentioned Chase Barnett yet. He's technically a running back but will play a lot of that Zach Terrell/BJ Hayes/Aaron Hewlett position.

Do we dare move another solid RB to LB? It worked pretty dang well last time we did it!

Ya I've heard a lot of good things about him. I think he could shake things up in the already stacked RB depth chart IMO

Aldreakis played multiple positions in HS, right? Any chance we see him play some defense?

He did play some LB and Safety is High School. So I mean while the chances of playing D is very slim, he has played D before.

news search didn't turn up anything. On his Facebook page he has colleges listed as Iowa State '12 and Hampton '12. Haven't seen anything reported, but maybe he's going to be a Pirate. Good luck with that!
