The gathering place for LU alumni to wax nostalgic about their glory days and tell current students how easy they have it. Old hags & bright-eyed and bushytailed recent grads both welcome.

Barry Rice is an awesome man. He was the middle school Pastor for a number of years (I served under him when I was in my undergrad).

He left TRBC to start a new church outside of Orlando.

The church is called Greater Orlando Church (Go Church) http://gochurch.org/

Barry played during the Morgan Hout years and I think one year under Sam. An absolute anchor on the offensive line. Probably a little short for NFL standards but otherwise a great lineman. Definitely, one of the strongest men, physically and spiritually, to play at LU.

I believe that quote - the first one, not the second - was in Time magazine.

I am so glad to hear where Barry and Christina are!! I emailed them and am glad to be back in touch.

I read that first quote and thought "Hey, that was from SI!!!". Yep, I was right. That was an awesome article, tucked away in my LU scrapbook.

Thanks for the info!!! :D
