The band looks just slightly smaller than last year...but it was much louder...seems like the brass line was bigger (love brass and percussion...go Drum Corps). The look we had last night was because Dr Kerr didn't want to have to deal with drycleaning almost 170 uniforms this early in the season. Hopefully if the weather is nicer next weekend we will be in our uniforms
Anyway, loved the Boston Bolero, and part of that show, was it from Swing, Swing, Swing...it sounded like the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corp version of it from way back in the day...I think 97...(I tried out for the Bluecoats in '98 or something like that, that's the only reason I know).
I LOVED the Trombones.
I would rather you wear uniforms than the jeans and shirt and black shoes look. Are you keeping that for the whole year, or will there be uniforms?
Overall, loved the band. I used to be in the band, so I know about the 3rd quarter break...and you can't really play when you're getting ready for the show...I wish that the PA announcer would have access to the Fan the Flames MP3, and that way, if we score during one of those times, it should be played over the PA...tell someone...that's what needs to happen.
I would, but I email Jeff Barber and Bob Good, and all kinds of LU people about my ideas all the time...I think they might get sick of me emailing...although they always reply, impressive.

I agree with you about the quarterback situation.[…]
