You paint the walls you don't want signal to leak out of. Usually just the exterior walls.

This stuff has been around for a long while. Works the same as a faraday cage, basically.

Yeah, like the article pointed out, most folks agree that you're liable for anything that happens on your Internet connection. I think that faraday principles are overkill unless you're handling sensitive data. For most people, just using WPA2 encryption will do. For now.
