You paint the walls you don't want signal to leak out of. Usually just the exterior walls.

This stuff has been around for a long while. Works the same as a faraday cage, basically.

If my neighbors are hacking into my internet then, well, good job. I'm not one to be paranoid to paint my walls in certain types of paint.

Yeah, like the article pointed out, most folks agree that you're liable for anything that happens on your Internet connection. I think that faraday principles are overkill unless you're handling sensitive data. For most people, just using WPA2 encryption will do. For now.
