I'm a "Brotha" offended. Were there any of us around in the Bible Times GRM? (just kidding of course). But I must again, thank you for your support and I am glad you get to hear and see the games all the way out there in CA! The Internet is an amazing tool. I could say something negative about KK along those lines but I will hold out. I still have to see him from time to time so I better be nice. You won't see me play the race card though I know things happen to me a lot in my daily journey. I usually send Mrs SCAR into places by herself so we won't get bad service (believe me it happens). I will be pulling hard for the Flames tonight. A loss here and we could be in danger of not making the Big South Tournament due to tie breakers. VMI would have it's 3rd win and all tie breakers vs. Liberty with a win tonight. This game is really important! I would like to see us win the rest of our games and get a 1st round home game (an extra TV game I might add) but 1st things first. Go get VMI tonight!

Putting KK aside (we could only wish) Scar brings up some good points about the importance of tonight's contest. This is a winnable game and one we really can't afford to drop based on the tough road ahead.

1. What is with the EA Sports video game version of Vines Center. IT looks nothing like our arena.

2. I like the scrolling ads on the scorers table. Are those new??

I never got into Dancing with the stars ...

But yeah, the game is going well.. it's almost cliche at this point but we need a presence down low. This game wouldn't be close if we could play a little inside-outside. VMI runs a lot but we could wear them down if we had the bodies down low. I've been a little more impressed with Monroe than I thought I would . I do give him more grace now as I see his talent is being overlooked because of how he's being asked to play. He looks to be a solid 4, not a 5.

Seems like a lot of noise is coming from a small number of students. I recall back in the late 90's how the vines was packed and loud! "Warm up the bus" was a common phrase at the end of games along with "AAAWWWWW SIT-DOWN!" Fun fun.

The best game in Vines that I remember was the 2004 BSC Championship game. Vines was packed and LOUD AS CAN BE. ESPN carried it live. Rowdy behavior all around and a good court storming afterwards.

LB and Reggie Williams were a wash at 23 apiece. So it was our supporting cast who got the job done tonight.
