Weather.com says it's going to be 76 degrees at kick off. GAME DAY in Morgantown! Breakfast under the Flames Club tent at 9:00 then off to the game.

Usually I don't like to break any of the 10 Commandments, but i am struggling with covetousness this morning in Houston of you guys in Morgantown. The last half of that sentence would probably never apply another day in my lifetime.

How much fan support do we have in Morgantown today? Was the breakfast at the Flames tent crowded this morning?

About the breakfast, it must have been catered by the WVU folks, and it was a meal fit for a king. The french toast was made with Texas Toast, Sly, and covered in almonds. The hashbrowns were the best I've ever had in my life, and I'm pushing the half century mark.

The only problem with the pre-game breakfast was the lack of signage--nowhere did I see a name for the park, and not even a Flames Club sign at the entrance, and you certainly couldn't see the Flames Club tent from the road.

After final tallies: most attended Flames Club pre-game meal under the "spider tent" in history, as well as most tickets sold by LU for an away game. A little over 1,000 there in red.

And as Lang pointed out in the paper, during the Karcher era (pre-Rocco), LU once drew only 2,000 fans for a HOME game.
