No one on this planet loves animals, and esp. dogs, more than Mrs. Cider, and she even feels like Michael Vick has served his time and deserves a second chance in the NFL.

What bothers me more than people acting the way they are towards him is that it seems pretty easy to me to believe someone could be genuinely remorseful for such a crime. Everything I've seen from him makes him seem like he actually does feel some amount of remorse for what he did. It seems genuine to me. Combine that with the fact that he served TWO YEARS in jail for it, and I can't understand why anyone would still be giving him grief at this point.

He did more than enough time and he seems sorry. Time to let it go and let the guy work in his chosen field.

Yes, but is that remorse because of the acts he committed, or because of the consequences he suffered? It's "easy" to fuel up the PR machine and say the right things to the media to make it sound like he is remorseful for committing the act.

I was hoping that went without saying, but of course I mean I think he's remorseful for what he actually did. I'm well aware of how PR works, thankyouverymuch.

Plax reached a plea deal for 24 months, will serve 20 on good behavior....he was facing 3.5 years if he was convicted. I mean Dante better thank his lucky stars and his back account for " payin an undislcosed sum to the vicims family" for keeping him out of the slammer.

If Burris lived in Cleveland and not in NYC, with it's draconian gun laws, he would be in pretty much the same situation as Stallworth. He was really stupid to do what he did. If you live in New York, you have to know about the gun laws.
