Any ideas of what the possible depth chart would look like?

I can't find anything that resembles a depth chart on the web site. Perhaps they can't put that informaton out there since it might be confidential. What position are you looking at in particular?

Exactly. I'll put one together on the first day of practice after talking to the SID folks and Rocco. But an "official" depth chart probably won't be released until the week before the opener, and it will be included in the game notes for the WVU game.

I think that the "Fan the Flames Outlook" for each position would be the way to go now. Most of the guys that are posting know what they are talking about and seem to have the inside scoop. Too many uncertainties right now with so my graduating.

I'm kind of surprised to hear teams even have depth charts any more. I guess you want to say who your starters are so they can put it in the program, but beyond that the game has become so situational that I doubt if the coaches even think in terms of who is second, third or fourth string. They know who they want in the game for specific offensive or defensive packages based on that players specific strengths.

Outstanding point, oldflame. A lot of times, your "starting" defensive end won't be in the game on third down because a specialty nickel or dime package has been installed. Or on third and short, a jumbo defensive package is on the field, and there's only three defensive backs, so one of your starting safeties isn't on the field in a crucial spot.

Thanks guys I love this game and especially this feature. If you dont have this game I recommend it. I'm playing with Liberty in dynasty mode, and I have the entire big south on there in place of the sunbelt conference haha. This game deserves its own thread.
