I would like to see the stats on how many people went to DI football from private schools playing against LCA and local leagues...I would like to see someone take more guys to that level then some of the schools like St Ann's in c-vile (sp?)

I just looked at the rivals top 30 from the state of Va.

From what I can tell, none of them went to private schools.

If you would really love to see this, just go do a simple web search, and you will see that tons of schools in VA send more guys than LCA or St Anns.

Maybe I will take the time to do that I still dont see more players going from the Seminole District then those that are on LCA and LCA's schedule

russell wilson starting qb at nc state went to collegiate in richmond. most private schools in virginia i feel are on par with all of Group A and some of AA. the LCA's, Collegiates, Flint Hill's, Benedictine's are dominant and send players to play collegiately all the time. do they go FBS?? not many, but a lot play FCS. A lot of Group AA players in the seminole plays FCS football, and the real studs go FBS. If you count the WCAC in northern virginia which some schools play in the private school playoffs that LCA does, those schools put a ton of players in FBS and FCS. So yes more schools than LCA and STAB put more players in college football, but LCA is still considered at elite team at the private school level. I do think LCA could compete in the seminole, but win it?? no way.

you have to be careful about FUMA and hargrave guys. acree played for the post-grad team after playing in public school. you really cant count post-grad programs. both schools have regular high school programs and FUMA's is by far better.
