Did anyone watch this years Celebrity Apprentice? Am I completely missing something or was Joan Rivers a complete nut case and was at fault 99% of the time? I dont even understand how she won other then she is very close to Donald.

I disagree my young friend. I watched every week for the 1st time in 8 seasons. I missed the 1st 2 weeks so I take that back but I was into it. I thought Joan did not take the high road as often as she thought but she was more likable than Annie Duke to me. I feel sorry for D Rodman. Brian McKnight is a tempermental little girl and Clint Black is the most stubborn person I have seen in a long time. Hershel Walker came off great though. Most of the women on that show didn't have a lot to contribute like Natalie Gulbis, T Boz and Klohe Kardashian. I thought it was a good show though.

I normally hate the regular show, but I loved the celebrity version, and I was really glad that Joan won. Once I saw that Annie picked Tom Greene and Dennis Rodman, I knew that Joan had it in the bag. Tom Greene is one of the most irritating guys that I've ever seen on TV. Joan is very loyal to her daughter, which I love, too.

I completely agree with HMO on this one. What a disgrace Joan was!! Annie was much better throughout the whole show and deserved to win. The show was all about raising money and Annie raised like $800,000 more than Joan during the whole season. The drama Joan created was unbearable. Personal attacks and then to get on Annie for lying about the party planner? Donald should have played the tape for her to shut her up. Joan and her little pitiful, self loathing daughter, were a joke all season. SCAR - what show were you watching? Other than Joan's ability to make a joke - she was worthless. Annie did get a little to self absorbed at times and needs to use the word "we" more often, but she excelled at everything the show threw at her. Come on Celebrity presence? Joan had Griffin and a bunch of drag queen wannabees - Annie had some pretty good celebrities over there and I bet there were many people that recognized a lot of those poker players too. Room design? The big picture frame was cool, but no incorporation of the charity - that wasn't even brought up. Annie was professional and Joan wouldn't have lasted 1 day in my office - if I wanted that much drama - I would be watching TNT - "They know Drama".

Trump looked pretty transparent here - picked my friend... Hollywood politics at there best.

Mrs. Sly & I picked up right about where Scar did this season. This was easily the most entertaining celeb reality show ever by a long shot.

Joan deserved the victory pure & simple based on the metrics by which the final was based. Annie was a natural fundraiser among her poker buds who are always looking for ways to work the IRS system through charitable donations.

Joan is indeed a nutcase. But Annie takes self-absorbed backstabber to a whole new level. She didn't manage ... just manipulated. Scar and others who are project managers can tell you how well that works in the real world.

The two that came across the best in the series were Herschel and Jesse.

But the line of the night in the live finale came from Clint Black when Trump asked him who should be fired (referring to Joan or Annie) and shot back "Your editors!". That was classic. He was certainly portrayed in the worst possible light of everyone on the show.

Proto I agree with pretty much everything you said. I actually didn't like Joan that much either but I thought couldn't stand Annie Duke. She was way too into her self. She did know how to bully her friends into spending money though I'll give her that. Sly your assessments were on point too. I would say that Celebrity Fit Club is a pretty compelling celeb reality show too but this particualar series ranks high with me. I can't wait to see who they get next year now.

Celeb Apprentice pulled very nice numbers so I doubt it is dying. But I feel confident the regular Apprentice is dead.

I completely forgot that this weekly train wreck was still on the air. My wife and I watched the first week just to see if we could remember who all the contestants used to be.

Early word has it that the celebrities next season will include Robert "Vanilla Ice" Van Winkle, Octomom, Harvey Levin, Sully the US Airways pilot, Chris "Leave Brittany Alone" Crocker and half the cast of "Two Girls, One Cup".
