Why would they not be time jumping? We have not seen anybody that was part of that time period that did not time jump...except for Alpert and all the other Hostiles.

They're not the only ones missing. Remember, there was a whole community of Others, where are they? And one thing I've always wondered, what happened to all the kids that the Others kidnapped? It now appears that Ben has a sweet spot in his heart for children, so maybe that's why they take them, but what happened to them?

i would be. i think she doesn't want it and that will reveal itself eventually. i would be satisfied with them eventually not crashing in that it will actually bring closure and i can't imagine how in the world they could do it otherwise... if they got something else up their sleeve im all for it though...

They would have a huge paradox to resolve, but I think they can make it work. Darlton are smart.

I don't think they can stop things from happening, well, not that they can't, but I don't think they'll be allowed. Remember back to Season 1 (the greatest single season of any show ever), the entire foundation of the show was destiny. Remember all the happenstances and coincidences that seemed to arrange these specific people ending up on this island (all the stuff that remains unexplained)? It's not just science, but also faith. It's not just time travel and electromagneticism, but the supernatural and fate. It's about the island.

Besides, something else has got to happen other than the people in 1973 stopping that event from happening, because there's still the group in the present with Locke and Ben.

they spent alot of time focusing on her gift to dan. his notebook was i'm assuming with him when he went into their camp. she finds this, sees the note in her handwriting and realizes it was her son. faraday writes everything he knows about the island in her notebook. information about people and info about events (plane crashing and what not). i wonder how this plays in. and if she has a notebook throughout her lifetime of her dead son, were there 2 notebooks in the present before dan started traveling in time?

As I was thinking about Lost in the shower this morning.....
Remember the two skeletons they found in the cave in Season 1, I think everyone nicknamed them Adam and Eve? Now that we know our friends are back in time, I wonder if the skeletons they found were actually themselves. Jack or Sawyer and Kate, maybe? Or does that not agree with time travel, since they technically haven't died yet.
