They are not underfunded. They just have chosen to not go in the Prep direction as of yet. More money has been put into LCA within the last couple years then it's entire existence. However during economic down turn schools like LCA suffer greatly.

LU is not a bottomless pit of money though. Each department is responsible for its budgets. Athletics has to raise money too...JFM same thing...they all do. LCA is no different
