Which makes it even worse. You have an NFL team. I know they're worthless and will never win a Super Bowl, but it's still your home state team.

You can't like a team if you're not from there? I don't think those types of rules apply to professional teams. Normally only college teams.

I guess not... but she's all about other NC Sports teams, so mainly I just wanted to take a shot at the Pussy Cats, since they're obviously not good enough for her to like.

I agree wholeheartedly BYD...although I personally am a Rams, Red Wings, Bulls (I wanted to "Be Like Mike") and Braves fan. The worst kind of fans are the bandwagoners frankly because theyll jump on board with a team because they are popular (like the ones listed) or because they are winning. If youve been behind one of those through the lean years then you have room to talk.

Like the red wings. With that said there are also times where your whole family follows the local team, and it just makes you sick so you go follow a different team. I can understand that too.

The Eagles are showing a high level of interest in Liberty running back Rashad Jennings, according to Ed Thompson of Scout.com.
But we all know Andy Reid never shows his hand before the draft so....
That's some deep digging by the philly paper on their own local team, quoting scout.com and all.

That would be nice...far far away from the NFC east. I could sport a Seattle jersey on the bye week.
Oh God no.... look at what they did to Shaun Alexander.

What, made him the league MVP? Got him to the Super Bowl? Gave him lots and lots of money?

Liberty running back Rashad Jennings had a busy workouts schedule over the past month, but according to one source, two of the teams that have been showing the highest level of interest in him as of late are the Cincinnati Bengals and the Philadelphia Eagles. Jennings has worked out for the Eagles, Broncos, Patriots and the Jets. And he's scheduled to visit the New Orleans Saints early next week.

More Eagles chatter in regards to Rashad:

5. So what do the Eagles do with those two first-round picks?

Well, you could always send that No. 28 pick over to the Cardinals for Anquan Boldin. I don't think the Cardinals will come close to getting a Roy Williams deal, which is to say they won't get a first- and third-round pick for Boldin. And I think Boldin is much better receiver than Williams. Of course, there's always the chance the Eagles actually make those first-round picks. If Ole Miss offensive tackle Michael Oher is there at No. 21, that's the direction Andy Reid will go. At No. 28, drafting Oklahoma State tight end Brandon Pettigrew wouldn't surprise me at all. So what about running back, you ask? Well, I don't think the Eagles have to take someone in the first round -- especially when there are guys like Rashad Jennings out there in the second or third rounds. You can find productive backs in later rounds. Ask the Cowboys and Giants about that. And I seem to recall a man by the name of Westbrook who wasn't taken in the first round. This flies in the face of what Philly writers are saying, but you have to go out on a limb every now and then -- or every day for that matter.

I think he'd do well on the Bengals if they're able to get a good center in the draft (they literally don't have one right now). However, he'd be a 3rd down back if he can win that (he'd have to beat out Kenny Watson and Chris Perry) and they pass a lot, so I wouldn't go out of my way to get him on my fantasy team.

People are saying the Philly is really interested in Moreno. So I'm guessing they'll take him if available. If not, they can wait and take Rashad later.

There are a few teams who are looking at Moreno or Wells if they are available and have Rashad as a "backup plan" in the second or third round if the other guy is gone. While I'm not exactly objective, I think he has a good chance to be better than either of those guys.
