I can see the frustration that everyone has with UVA. It is not because of the school it is what McKay did and that was leave for a school that you won against
This is like everyone being mad at Maine.Once you leave then you take the top recruit that committed to LU with you. I know that is the name of the game but everything he said about how he felt about the school is contradicted in his actions.

I feel for VCU...they are going through what we have been going through lately. The only difference is that they have had a good ride the past five years.
ToTheLeft wrote:That is what I was trying to say. It is just that McKay left a bad taste in everyones mouth and that is the school he landed at. So, unfortunately everyone hold a grudge witht he school as well. Like I said I love UVA and always will but I will see how my feelings sort themsevles out when basketball season rolls around again. I do know that I will wear LU stuff every time I go to a game there.soccer7 wrote:I understand the frustration with McKay... but not with UVAToTheLeft wrote:What did UVA do? It would break my heart if he left...even more than when I hear Seth was leaving. I was happy to hear that Floyd is comming back now I have to hear this. Is there going to be an end to this madness

If you're eating with your mouth open it's a faux pas in most places that thinks that's gross. If you let the door close behind you and slam in the face of someone, that is a faux pas. If you're taking recruits with you that verbaled to your old school, that is a faux pas.LUconn wrote:I know it's common and expected, but bringing commitments from one job to the other is pretty faux pas unless the new coaching regime has no interest in said player. I guess I shouldn't be looking for character at this point. Just win baby...Faux pas is French for "false step" or "false move". In English it is used to refer to a blunder.

Who knew basketball was this way, I sure didn't. Give me a bunch of manly-men football players smacking each other around ANY DAY. I KNOW it's not the same situation, but three of their coaches left and you didn't hear all this whining and "I'm gonna leave" and "wah wah wah".LCA&LU Mom wrote:I'm jumping OFF this rollercoaster ride. But make sure you stay in the boat.
