I am sorry for the extra-strong glass of haterade I drank. I am, and always will be, a Liberty supporter, and I am sorry for letting my emotions get the best of me last week. I don't want to sound like I'm jumping on the bandwagon now that we've won a big game, but... man. I'm going to find a good recipe for crow. That was easy.

Liberty University Director of Athletics Jeff Barber has announced he will be holding a press conference this afternoon where he will make a major announcement concerning the future of the men’s basketball program.

Dale Layer is a horrible coach, what else do you need to know. Over 7 years he is 31-67 in conference games with a team full of 7 foot white guys. Adding to that, top talents routinely transfer out of the system.

I love this guy, Big time hire! Im pumped for Liberty over the next few years, obviously this year will be tough but progress is a slow process. I am excited to see BIGS at liberty again. Great coach and a great man, if you talk to the guys that came through that may have not been McKay fans that worked with Layer they loved him and he is top notch. Its great to get him especially with as well as his other team did and how well they are going to do. Id like to hear what he has to say as far as how he feels about being here LONG TERM, but I am super pumped for this!!!!The fact that TB says this should allay all reticence over any perceived connection to McKay.
It is a GREAT DAY TO BE A FLAME AGAIN!!!!!
Best of Luck to the guys and Coach Layer! WHOO HOO!!!
