Wow...just wow...I mean, I can't blame wanting to be a part of a high-level program, but leaving a head job to be an assistant at UVA? This is a lateral move, at best, but definitely not a step up and in my view a step down. Don't most high-level assistants become heads at mid-majors and not the other way around?

There wouldn't be a better guy for our program. He is a top notch person and I think the players would warm up to him very quickly.

At this point, I think we need an assistant and not some former head coach failure, sloppy seconds with high expectations.
