In the 2007-08 Liberty media guide, Smith lists his biggest athletic thrill as: “First collegiate dunk and getting a new coach.”

How do you really feel Ant?

Looks like we're going to need him to step up tonight if you know what I mean...

I think he named his last child's middle name McKay...I could be wrong though...

Yep, hopefully Rider won't force us to play 3 on 5 because we are really going to need our big 3 to be "big" tonight.

I posted this in the Rider thread, but it probably belongs here:
Smith led all scorers with 25 points and pulled down nine rebounds. Curry added 19 points and five rebounds, while Ohman chipped 13 points and dishing out four assists. Sanders added 10 points, four rebounds and dropped three assists in 24 minutes of action.

Smith’s night helped the senior pass Liberty great Peter Aluma (1,715) for the second-most points scored by a Flame during the Liberty Division I era. Smith currently has 1,728 points, ranking sixth all-time in the Liberty annals.

No wonder we won the Quiz Bowl this year...

Umm.. Baby #1 born 2 years ago (psst- that's 24 months!)
Baby #2 born 10 months ago- that puts the babies 14 months apart..

Normal pregnancy lasting ~9 months- that's roughly 5 months recovering between children..

Do I need to simplify that or post graphs & pictures to accompany the breakdown??

You can't crow about the Quiz Bowl win while simultaneously making such an obvious mental mistake.

Kingaling, is it safe to assume that you aren't on UNCA's BSC champion Quiz Bowl team yourself? Study

I don't quite know where you are going with this but the babies are 8 months apart. Baby #1: Tre is 10 months old, Baby #2: Jaden is 2 months old. Don't remember who it was but a previous poster was correct in saying that babies are born early, as Jaden was born extremely early.

As far as the article goes, I'm not going to lie...we should have had someone from LU with Ant...and if there was then they needed to step in a few times and do their job. There are ways of saying things like "I feel like I really came into my own under RM's system and he helped me on and off the court" You pretty much say the same thing without even mentioning the past. It's not tough to give the PR answer and stay positive but oh well it's over with now.

Chris, none of that is your fault. You didnt lead him to any of those answers he just chose to answer them in a certain way which I think he should have done differently.

It's not really that much different from what he said when he was interviewed by our own SID people and it was printed on our website. He said getting a new coach was one of the highlights of his career.

I agree and I would have had Ant rethink his highlights or they wouldnt have been mentioned in the media guide...that's just ignorant to put something like that in a media guide. It's about as dumb as when the Champion was running articles slamming one of our sports teams and Doc had to call the coach and apologize and promise it would never happen again...it really makes me wonder what some people are thinking or are they at all.

There is an SID with every single athlete at Liberty that gets interview (assuming the interviewer does it the right way). I'm willing to put money on it that Vince was around when Anthony did this. He can advise Anthony to do all kinds of things, but Anthony can say what he wants to, and Anthony was very adamant about what he said. He has been very, very open about that.

That comes from the leadership...Vince does not work for Anthony Smith nor should he
