"They" don't have money. Her dad has money.................................. maybe. It definately should not be assumed that because someone played pro ball that they are set for life. There are lots of stories. As far as I know, Bubba is doing fine, but I don't think Courtney is planning to hit him up for it. I believe her quote was "I don't care how long it takes, I'm going to pay it back".
It seems like a noble gesture on the surface, but to me it actually sounds really presumtuous (sp?). It's like she's saying "I'm too good to play 4 years and not win a national championship". In fact, she is very good, but could be much better if she got a handle on her weight. She is not close to being the best player in the country, and her team is not close to being the best team. UConn already beat them by 30 this year, and they will do it again if they meet in the tourney. I'm sure Oklahoma will not accept repayment of the schollie as such, but I guess if she's stupid enough to do it, she could make donations to the school.
