That's lame and anti capitalistic. It goes against everything Liberty stands for. If Liberty Dining can't compete with 20oz sodas for $1.25 than they need to give up and poor more resources into Doc's Diner.
Just do what I do...plug it back in.

Hey, whiners!!! During LU athletic events, the concession stands are run by local church groups and youth organizations who, in exchange for their work, get the proceeds from the sales they make!!! LU Dining makes $0.00 on these events!!! So, all you snack-smugglers and drink machine-pluggers are actually taking $$$ away from deserving youngsters and do-gooders!!! This displeases me!!!

Yeah that can be attributed to my brilliant agent I had hired at the time I joined this board. Needless to say, he’s been fired.

troywr doesnt need to be brought into this. I know you hired him when you were 12 for being named "Most likely to have a below average tv career" in 8th grade, but he did alot to boost your career

My Jim Nance was the big, strong fullback of the New England Patriots old days. If this were that Jim Nance, I might have been less apt to call his post "stupid."

Actualy, I have workd the concessions with a group. You get a "cut" of the proceeds. It's really not that much, but when your raising funds every bit helps. Someone else gets the larger cut.

it's a dumb argument anyway. I would get a drink out of the vending machine but if it's not on I'm not buying from the concession stand.

Are you the Jim Nance that played for the Patriots in the 70's?
I'm never embarrased! Win or lose, I will always back them up! As I always say, "GO FLAMES" :D
For clarity, I was calling Nance's post the stupidest. Why would anybody be ashamed to be a fan? It makes no sense whatsoever, and goes contrary to any definition of a fan.
Thanks for clearling that up- I thought you had issues for a sec there :D

There was an issue with an electrical outlet that resulted in one machine being turned off.

The others were unplugged because of a miscommunication . Some individuals asked for a refund from Sodexho (they do not give refunds for vending it is done through student accounts because they are owned by Pepsi) and nobody knew how to handle the situation so the machines were unplugged by mistake.

It will not happen again.
