I'm actually kinda glad that Duggar didn't have the sense to pull back. It was ill-advised and awkward to say the least, and virtually unprecedented when a much more meaningful match-up with the same opponent may be a mere week away.
I really think that he got swept away in the moment, kinda like Dunton when he prematurely threw his clipboard out onto the court in adulation in what appeared to be his first D1 win, only to draw a technical, and end up the loser.
Heading into the tourney, VMI was the team that concerned me the most, but right now I can't wait to see them again. And when it's all said and done they may have done us a huge favor. We'll have to wait and see how it all plays out.
