It won't be as much fun without Jeri on the other side, but then again we don't have to feel bad beating her anymore.

We're up 17-5 midway through the 1st half and Megan has 9 already.

40-15 now. Megan is unstoppable right now. Total domination so far.

40-15 at the half, and it really looks like no contest. Megan has 15 points and 7 or 8 rebounds. Live stats is a white screen of death.

This league is embarrassingly bad.

This is too easy 54-18 now. Radfurd has no answer for Megan right now.

It certainly looks that way, which is frustrating, because up til the last couple of years it looked like the WBB in the conference was getting more competetive.

RU is up to 22 now, I guess they did find a way to hit the rim for a bit

80-36 the final. I don't think that we broke the record for the largest margin of victory.

Nope...I know the record is at least 53 when we beat Winthrop 79-26 in the first round of the 2005 Big South Tournament

I thought that we beat Ashville by 55 in the conference finals the year we went to the sweet sixteen

Wasn't the largest victory margin 55 when we beat Charleston Southern last year 99-44?

If all you care about is just winning out pitiful-*** conference and making a token trip to the NCAA to be stomped on by a 1 or 2 seed, I guess that's fine. Some of us have "been to the mountain top" and want to go back. The weakness of the BSC kills our strength of schedule and makes it very difficult to get a 12/13 seed, which is where we need to be to have a decent chance of doing some damage in the dance.

So I guess if we sweep the Big South then the best we could do is to get a 15 or possible 14 seed in the tourney. We did beat VA Tech but I don't know if that alone would help us that much in terms of seeding. Unfortunately when we faced the meat of our schedule we were playing with a depleted roster and without our big gun in Megan.

I just wonder if if the selection committee would take the injury factor into account this year just the opposite of what they did to us last year when the injuries were used against us and maybe the Anti-Liberty bias that is frequently brought up in giving us last years undeservadly low seeding. We can never catch a break with the selection committee. They always find some way to bump us down.

There is a precedent for that Stevev, and when you think about it, playing Auburn as tough as we did with Megan out was pretty impressive. I think we get a 14, but if they take into account that we are healthy now, a 13 might be possible. Then again, they may just say we only finished strong because we were playing against our pitiful conference opponents.
