"I'm sorry I caused the school trouble," Calvin Holloway said. "He got suspended from sports because of me."
Sirchauncey never played a game for Armwood, but coach Sean Callahan was instrumental in not only helping him to stay motivated and in shape, but helping him land at Liberty University. Sirchauncey enrolled three weeks ago, and his father said he's doing well.
"It was a blow when that happened," Calvin Holloway said of the FHSAA ruling. "They said he couldn't play sports for 365 days. Callahan called Liberty and they asked him to orally commit. Western Kentucky called him, Michigan called him, but he wanted to stay with the school that committed to him. ...Everything got better when he got here."
