SportsNation Mel Kiper: Barden has to show he can separate. How fast is he? How quick is he? He played at a lower level of competition. He's 6-6. Can he get open? Dobson Collins from Gardner-Webb is another small school guy, who first got my attention earlier this year against Georgia Tech when he had 7 catches for 97 yards. I like Rashad Jennings from Liberty, a big RB who has just enough wiggle. Former Pitt Panther. Javarrius Williams out of Tennessee State is another RB. TE Brian Mandeville out of Northeastern. Cecil Newton, C, Tennessee State.

1. QB Rhett Bomar – If there is a quarterback down here that is going to have an impact next season, it's going to be Bomar. He's by far the most pro-ready of any of the signal callers in Mobile and could be taken in the third round.
2. RB Jeremiah Johnson – The former Oregon Duck impressed me today. Johnson showed great quickness and explosiveness as a runner. He has good cutback ability and is a player to keep an eye on for next season.

Liberty RB Rashad Jennings didn't fare quite as well as Brown, but he didn't finish far behind, either, and it makes sense considering they share a couple of traits. Like Brown, Jennings is a big back with above-average burst for his size. As far as the differences, Brown is more explosive and 6-foot-1, 234-pound Jennings is bit stronger between the tackles. It's like comparing Atlanta Falcons RB Michael Turner with Cleveland RB Jamal Lewis, though it's important to point out that both prospects have a long way to go before they can be compared to these established NFL backs.

Rashad Jennings had just completed his freshman season at the University of Pittsburgh and had a tough decision to make. But really, he said, it was no decision at all.
Jennings had earned a starting job as a freshman at Pitt in 2005, becoming only the fourth player ever to start for the Panthers as a true freshman in a season-opening game. He finished second on the team in rushing with 411 yards and a touchdown, but a call from back home changed everything.
"Third down and short, I'm your guy. Third and long, I'm your guy. First and 10, I don't have to come off the field," Jennings said. "I believe I can fit in any offense. I have the ability to go up the field, catch out of the backfield, (run) in between the tackles, outside the tackles. That's what I'm here to prove.Click Here for Full Story
"I'm excited I get to come back and finish my career at the D-I level and prove that I can play, and hopefully one of these scouts will recognize that and I'll get picked up."

A player to keep an eye on this Saturday is Liberty running back Rashad Jennings. At 6-foot-1, 234 pounds, Jennings is a strong, well-balanced and intelligent back who has the maturity and focus to succeed in the NFL.
And while draft day can't come soon enough for Jennings, he's enjoying the entire pre-draft experience.
"This is a childhood dream. And I'm out here shaking hands with kids and signing autographs, and I'm thinking, I was you one day," he told Scout.com. "As the week goes on, reality is hitting, how close you are to a dream come true. So you just take it step by step, day by day."
Jennings believes that as pro scouts and evaluators watch him up close here in Mobile, they'll see that he has plenty to offer an NFL club.
"I'm a complete back who's eager to learn, who's physical and who's just learning constantly," he said. "Being able to stay on the field—whether it's third-and-short, third-and-long, being able to catch the ball out of the backfield—there's a lot of things that about my game that I know will make me successful at the next level."

Liberty RB Rashad Jennings – Jennings hasn't been outstanding this week, but among all the running backs down here he may have the best chance of being an instant impact player. He has great size along with very good power and strength. Jennings could be another Matt Forte this year. • Liberty RB Rashad Jennings continued to look impressive carrying the ball. It was hard not to notice the 234-pound running back's quick burst hitting and getting up through the hole. He showed the necessary top-end speed to break a big run as his long strides enable him to cover a lot of ground and separate from defenders. He also displayed natural hands when catching the ball during seven-on-seven drills. After an overall impressive week of practice, scouts will have a keen eye on Jennings this Saturday to see if he can transition his play in practice to the field.http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft09/ ... id=3853074
