The annual combine offers a select group of players one last chance to impress Major League Soccer coaches and executives before the MLS SuperDraft. The initial list of players will be supplemented before the combine by Generation adidas youth players, NAIA college players, and additional players from all three NCAA classifications.

The final group of players will be split into four teams. The four teams will then play round robin format against one another. Santa Clara University head coach Cam Rast, Providence coach Chaka Daley, Notre Dame head-man Bobby Clark, and Indiana assistant Caleb Porter have been called in to lead the four teams.
And here is the list of participants ...

MLS Combine - Day Two Review

Day Two of the MLS combine was this past Sunday, with two more games showcasing the participants for league coaching staffs and scouts in attendance ahead of Thursday's SuperDraft. As we did with Day One, we have scoured Pro Player Pipeline, 3rd Degree, Soccer By Ives and MLSdraft.net to provide a snapshot of the feelings of the day. Below is a list of the players who's stock continued to move up (and down), as well as a recap of the thoughts on the nine Generation adidas selections.

Monday was an off day for the players, except for a goalkeeping session, with action wrapping up with two more games on Tuesday. I'll be back with a summary of the final day's games later today.

Most Impressive:
Kevin Alston (D – Indiana University)
Matt Besler (D – Notre Dame)
Ryan Maxwell (M – University of Tampa)
David Hertel (D – Michigan State University)
Josh Boateng (M – Liberty University)
Quincy Amarikwa (F – UC, Davis)
Sam Cronin (M – Wake Forest)
Stefan Frei (GK – University of California)

Least Impressive:

Neal Kitson (GK – St. Johns University)
Nick Perera (F – UC, Santa Barbara)
