Richie sounds really bummed. "We've gotten to the point in our program where we expect to win, no matter the venue or the opponent."

Quality losses.

Their coach says he think Seth got tired at the end of the game.

Baby Jesus doesn't get tired.

The stat I think that will continue to haunt us is ft's. 2-5 for the game. 1 or 2 more and we win.

Thanks. Even with an "off" game:

1) He's still great.
2) This team is still tough. I like seeing that.

I know we joke about it, but having Tyler play 10-20 minutes and put up 6-10 points is going to be huge for us during conference play. If we can get that night in and night out, we'll be in really good shape.

The ESPN box score showed only 5... it was behind the whole game... it's still wrong at this moment, too.

That's not right. I know we didn't shoot well, but Seth hit 2 right at the end.

yeah, all the stats are stuck at half-time. We're gonna need to wait to get updated, accurate stats.

Let me stand up and say that despite the frustrating finish I can hardly contain my enthusiasm over what is happening in this program. And based on the number of folks we had on the board tonight (if you noticed) it is clear I am not alone. This team is so close to turning the corner and becoming something special it is scary. Keep in mind how many of these guys were playing high school ball or no hoops at all a year ago. On a night when we play poorly we nearly won a game on the road at a Big East school. Let that sink in for a moment.

I am more jazzed about SLU now than I was to start the day. Bring on the Billikens!

In a way I am disappointed that we didn't pull it off after a terrible first half. Beating a team from a power conference would gone a long way in giving us some serious national credablility even though DePaul is having an off year but they are a Big East team. That second half was great and I knew we could keep it close after that first half performance. Can't wait til we play St Louis. I am sure we will give them a competitive game.
