Yeah, I am pulling for the underdog, despite their coach. I never got to experience this guy at Losethrop, anyways, so I don't hold anything against him.

Marshall's Wichita State team went 11-20 last year, including 4-14 in conference. And they lost again today, 58-49.

And Ehimen Orukpe is playing JUCO ball after failing again to make it through the NCAA clearinghouse.

georgetown was lucky to win that game seeing as how they had to rely on wichita state not executing late to win, of course you can also say that wichita state was lucky to even be in the game since gtown didnt play well at all today

If the Missouri JUCO where Orupke is now playing seems familiar, it should.

In the interest of bringing the Orukpe situation up to date . . .

Nigeria did not release his exit exam scores and despite him getting his GED last summer in Wichita the NCAA ruled him ineligible. He was "placed" at TRCC and is redshirting this year with the intention of returning to WSU with three years of eligibility.

Yeah, the NCAA has been making it really hard on Nigerian athletes. LU had a situation years ago with Steven Bami, who actually took classes for a year and got good grades, but they still wouldn't clear him. What's crazy is that as corrupt as things are in Nigeria, the documentation they are waiting for probably isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
