Oklahoma is just beating the brakes off of TT... I didn't see this coming at all, I know OK has a great team but man this isn't even a ballgame with OK looking to make it 28-0 with 9 to in the 1st half...

What a move the WR just made. TWO Red Raiders are now minus their jocks.

OU is one bad quarter (4th quarter of the OU-Texas game) away from being the #1 team in the nation. They're that good.

I talked to both Leach and D-Cord Ruffin McNeil (who is from NC) this week and I would have never seen this coming... I still think that TT can make this a game but they got to respond on this drive.. well they got the score now 28-7...

If their defense can get a couple of stops....the RR can score in bunches.

man, TTs defense is so bad. No pass rush, and no open field tackling skills. Maybe if their coach took the field goal and punted at the 50, they'd be in a much better spot. What an idiot.

They were good calls... when you have the O that TT has, 4th and 3 is nothing.... Plus when your D can't stop anybody you want to keep it in your O's hands as long as possible, so he is not an idiot

Yeah it really worked out well for them. They didn't get the 3 points and gave up 14 anyway.

they would have gotten their brains beat in beyond belief regardless of what call they made there.

This is ugly.

(and just ONCE I would love to see a coach tell the sideline reporter to shut up and get that mic out of my face)

I feel dirty having to cheer for the Sooners tonight. And it looks like I'll have to do it again next week. Ugh.

Don't cheer too hard Sly, the Sooners just might jump over the Horns in the BCS.

Not if they don't win the conference championship. We've been down this road before.

If Texas, OK and TT win out, there will be a 3 way tie in the Big 12 South, and the tiebreaker which decides who plays Missouri for the championship will be who has the highest BCS rating. The BCS ratings will likely decide the Big 12 winner before the championship game, as any of those 3 will be big favorites over Mizzu. Texas plays A&M, which won't help them no matter what they do because the Aggies are down this year. Oklahoma on the other hand can help themselves with another impressive win over a tough Oklahoma State squad, and based on how they looked last night I wouldn't bet against it. The whole thing is an indictment of the current system, because the Big 12 South has 3 of the best 5 or 6 teams in the country and at least one of them will end up in a minor bowl game.

UT had to go through the murderer's row of four teams midseason and came within a few seconds of sweeping all four of them. So the Horns essentially could be punished for winning to early in the season against the same teams who are being rewarded right now. Hopefully voters don't forget the margin of victory in the Red River Shootout.

You're right Sly. IMHO the head to head win the Longhorns had over Oklahoma should trump other factors, but it doesn't always work that way with the BCS. There is definately more emphasis on how a team finishes the season.

Hopefully that will hold true in the FCS selections as well.
