Also noteworthy it that the benches are now going to be on the opposite side of the Vines away from the student section and the media is moving to the student section side. The scorers table will now be on the opposite side as well (obviously needs to be on the same side as the benches). TV will remain on the original side to which I am grateful. It is hard to look at the game live going left to right when your monitor is going right to left. Very confusing.

Man those changes suck for the atmosphere. They did this sort of configuration a few years back at WU when season tickets started selling like hot cakes. They moved the students under the goal and sucked the life out of the party in the middle. I've always thought that was a bad idea even though it does draw some additional revenue.

EDIT: Actually it shouldnt be that bad since Press Row will get the brunt of it....but still, think about how close you guys were to the opposing benches last year....now that's your high dollar fans....that could get interesting

A much younger and trimmer Flameshaw was seen at the 94 Championship game. Still the most exciting LU athletic event I have ever been to. Brought back lots of memories. I forgot about Campbell player Spinks, he was a very good player.

Side note, Tom Mees who announced that game for ESPN, died not long after the game (as I remember less than a year). A story was told about how he talked to Jerry after the game congratulating the team and gave a very good testimony regarding his faith.
