The more we keep winning it seems that the Elon game is going to be HUGE. I am having trouble not looking forward to that game right now.

I know tradition has a lot to do with it, but how does North Dakota State maintain such a lofty ranking? #6 with two losees to teams ranked much lower. They should drop off the list from #6, but my guess is they'll probably still be ranked ahead of LU when the polls come out this week. Unless LU suddenly became visible to the voters it is going to be very, very difficult to move up very much this week. The teams that lost were in the top ten and probably won't drop very far and the teams just in front of LU all won. Next weeks game looks bigger and bigger. Lafayettehas a good chance of moving into the top 25 this week.

Just the last two years

20-2
Wins over
Central Michigan
Ball State
1 point loss to Minnesota

The 2 losses prior to yesterday
3 points to Wyoming
@YSU who was ranked in the top 25 for a couple weeks
Yesterday still wont kill them IMO. If we do pass a team it will be them, even if their losses are to good competition.
Also, the MVC now in 3 conference games has every team with a loss.

I believe we have been treated very fairly by the polls so far and have no complaints about where we are ranked. The great thing about FCS, or whatever we are called, I still can't keep it straight, is that if you make it to the playoffs, it doesn't matter your rank. The rank is ultimately decided on the field where it should be. Let's make the playoffs and the rest doesn't matter.

I mis-read the title of the first post. sorry. I thought you meant there were only 6 top 25 teams that lost all together. not of the top 6.
and only 3 top 5 teams lost.

Richmond won't drop far. They lost at the last second to the #1 team in the country who was picked by most to beat them.
