Sorry BJ, it would have helped if I finished that thought. It was a joke and if you look sat their brackets, we are not on them.

If you look at Ray's bracket, Liberty was one of the final teams left off the bracket. I think they need more big wins. Two non-DI's dont help yo0ur cause. School's like yours need to schedule big non-conference games and win them. It is the same debate that San Diego causes almost every year. Liberty is better than San Diego, but they need to go undefeated all year (unless others loss more games).

Well, Ray has 3 teams from the MVC making it, and considering everyone in that conference has at least 2 losses already, there is going to have to be a TON of chalk, aka very few upsets, to see more than one team from that conference deserving of an at-large. There are a lot of good teams in that conference, don't get me wrong. But there is a lot of season left, and most of them are already in pretty compromised positions in terms of losses. Especially if a team like Youngstown decides to start winning again and takes the conference. That would be pretty devastating to the other MVFC teams and their playoff hopes.

Lot of football yet to play tho. Remember last year when there was hardly enough teams with 7 D-I wins in scholarship leagues that are eligible for the playoffs? Don't be so sure that this year will be different.

That being said... Liberty needs to take care of their own business and let the committee do it's job, and in the end things should work out just fine.

People need to stop lumping San Diego and Big South teams together. USD is a non-scholarship team that plays non-scholarship teams. It belongs nowhere near a playoff discussion. The seventh-place team in the SoCon could go undefeated against San Diego's schedule. Big South schools at least play other scholarship teams.
