No, I'm not. However, I started a club on campus that works hand in hand with the athletic department, and at times the OPP, and have done a lot of work for things like this. Because of this, I talk to these people on a regular basis.

With that being said, where did I act "like you are privy to such great insider info" or try to "dangle (it) to us outsiders and use to prop up your arguments and positions here on the board?"

I've posted nothing on here that can't be figured out by anyone that pays attention to the school. They only thing that could be considered that is where I posted about the two departments being angry about what was done.

As for answering "with such absolution to everyones posts," of course I do. Anyone who believes themselves to be right will answer definitively. If I believe I'm right, I will act like I believe it. When I'm proven wrong, I'll admit it (see the whole Earned Access debate after YSU if you need further proof).

Hindsight is 20/20 so that's easy to say now, a much easier thing to say would have been "More Liberty Students doing Dumb Things"
I assumed people in college could read and tell the difference. I guess I was wrong.

How you got your degree is beyond me. Ok, maybe it isn't, but that's not the point.

They were angry that people are going out posing as administrators and trying to promote something that is against what the school is trying to do.

Yeh bro a degree is what you need to say "You're a freaking idiot" but really mean "You're doing idiotic things"

Just admit you called them dumb! LOL

Point out where I called them "freaking idiots." How about you start reading what is said and not what you want to read. There's only two places in this thread where the word idiot was used: in your post and in someone's signature.

When/where did they claim to be athletic administrators?

You use information that you have received from your sources in the athletic dept and opp to win disputes on this message board. Within this very topic you have done it:
"Is that why the athletic department has spent the morning taking down the signs? Is that why OPP is making a slide about wearing red to show in convo?" SJ 10/7 1:05 pm
"I talked to six people today in either athletic or OPP that didn't like that this group was doing what they were doing. They posed as athletics officials to hang the signs up in Demoss. One of the departments that's, to use their own words, "p issed off" at this whole thing is right next to Jr's office and their director reports directly to the chancellor. If this was something that was just "little" then there wouldn't have been all of the efforts put into it that has been to get red in the stands." SJ 10/7 8:38pm

Those that have gotten angry over this will more then likely be be addressed...it's one thing for a college student such as yourself to get bent out of shape over this but for a grown man in a actual position of authority to get "angry" is actually scary...I suspect this thread will be read and people in other positions of authority would like to know the names of those who were "angry" this particular instance

I don't consider that stuff inside information but I guess I can see where you do. That came from friends talking to me throughout the day. I didn't mean for it to sound like I was anything special, just that this is actually a big deal to people who work at the school.

HAHAHA yeah google Chrome is awful, the text lags so you cant see when you make corrections

its funny. I leave for a while, yet the same thing seems to be debated over and over again. A guy makes a point and then others try to make points, yet they are so far from intelligent that it comes off as completely idiotic...you guys can go ahead and try to figure out who/whom I am talking about.... :D

So someone who has spent months working on something can't get angry or upset when someone else tries to undermine them?

What you're saying is if I went around posting signs telling people not to go to Tan State because the managing owner will follow you into the room and be way too nice to you and creep you out you wouldn't get upset? If I went around starting Facebook groups against Tan State you wouldn't get angry? I have a hard time believing that.

This group of students is trying to support athletics...they're not trying to undermine the athletics department. They're being misguided...not trying to destroy everything that has been built.

If he truly is angry about a student who has 33 members (the last time I checked) in a group that wants you to wear blue, the kid doesnt seem to be ill willed towards you and honestly think he's doing the right thing. Then yeh, that's pretty pathetic.

Your example was of someone who is trying to cause harm to a person's reputation, this is someone who truly thinks they are doing the right thing! If this kid said "I hate the creator of the all red theme, he's a idiot and I want to go against him" then yeah, that would tick me off and I'd get angry and well deserved

That may not be their intent, but that's what they're doing. By making Facebook groups (which are more influential than anyone on here is giving credit for) and posting signs, that are undermining what athletics is trying to do. Now athletics has to go back over top of them to make people realize the Facebook group and signs in Demoss weren't them and were just some students and that they'd like them to wear red to the games.

the other night when boise state was on espn i think it was thursday, they had a 30 second piece on how the local news outlets publish what colors certain sections of the stadium should wear as per the universities planning id assume. they alternated 1 section orange 1 blue and so on. ended up looking pretty good despite the smurf turf...no word on whether fans in section 101 are going against administration by wearing orange or if the students responsible for the facebook group "section 102=blue" group have been caught yet

I've got no problem with the kids who are doing this. They seem like good kids. One is even a member of the LUnatics. I have a problem with what they're doing. I can hate an action and still like a person. I'm friends with TBGBG so that should be understood (that was a joke, chill out).

I don't know how many members the Facebook group has. However, let's look at this for a second. I don't know where exactly the signs were placed in Demoss, but let's say there was one posted in the back hallway. Do you realize how many kids walk through that back hallway by noon every day and how many kids saw those posters, many of which assumed they were from athletics? That's not a good thing.

Edit: Just checked, the group has 157 members.

If someone in athletics has to now realize that there is a facebook group and they have to "go back over the top of them" over 30 students rather then worrying about the 12,000 others, then I know something else FARRRRRR more important is being over looked.
Coaching changes

It appears your intel was on the mark.
