From the Harrisonburg fishwrap talking about its All-Area high school baseball team:

Andrew Weaver, Sr., Fort Defiance: Weaver was a major cog in Fort’s third-place showing in the Valley District, leading the Indians in batting average (.397), RBIs (15) and home runs (4) to earn first- team all-district and second-team all-region recognition. He was also a force defensively, using his speed – he also participated in track during the spring – to hunt down fly balls in the outfield.

"He’s a very fast kid," Anderson said. "I thought he played very good outfield and swung the bat well. His approach at the plate was very good, very solid, very sound. He was just a very good high school player, and I see good things happening for him."

Weaver will play at Division I Liberty University next season.
