I'm not happy with the overall performance. It's ok to be critical of a team as a fan. If you hadn't made such a big stink about it, these issued would have been aired out and this thread would probably be less of a downer.
How is it that I can have such a radically different view of what's going on?

I mean, really. I see so much wrong with this, that apparently none of you guys can see.

Whatever, air out all your issues, I am stoked for Youngstown and ticked off that there's a bye week.
You see so much wrong with us being critical of a football game? But yes you do have a much different view than the rest of us. You have the kool aide dude for an avatar.

Happy Medium time!!!!!

Brock missed a couple of throws tonight. The recievers dropped passes. Blockers forgot there was a game. Kent Hicks played aggressive and got bit for it, possibly home cooking. Either way hes better than last year. We also need to block for our field goal unit. We won the game, and 3-0 is all that matters on paper. But on the field, we have not played to our potential just yet.

I see the things you guys see as issues as non-issues. Brock and Kent aren't the reason we didn't win 38-10, it's the special teams and penalties. But some people still decide to drop hate on two guys who did well today! I just don't get it.

I know we had problems. But nothing that doesn't come with playing your first real game, on the road, against a SoCon team...

For us flamefans:

Every away game we must find the other team's broadcasting station. I cannot do one more quarter of ours.

If we want to go to the places we're aiming for this year, we've got to learn to win ugly...and we did. There was a time where any game away from Williams Stadium was an automatic loss.

missed the entire thing but am glad to read the guys stuck it out.

Coach has GOTTA be hitting the Maalox heavy.

I don't think I could have made it thru the broadcast tonite- between "the voice" and the mistakes I'd have had cramps, bloating, vomiting and diarrhea

willing to bet #24 had a great game, though

GO FLAMES!

Linebacker Chad Brown and assistant coach Robert Wimberly celebrate Liberty's three-point road victory over Western Carolina.

No. 25 Liberty withstood two fourth quarter touchdowns and made a key fourth-down stop with 1:39 remaining to hold on for a 19-16 road victory over Western Carolina, Saturday evening, at E.J. Whitmore Stadium.

With the victory, the Flames move to 3-0 for the first time since the 1997 season, a year Liberty finished its campaign with a 9-2 overall record. Western Carolina’s second-straight loss drops the Catamounts to 1-2 on the season.
