Traditions don't start overnight. Factor int he weather and the confusion probably led to questions of whether it was happening or not. I wouldn't give up on the concept.
You have like a month now to get it together... Just tell Kevin that you want to do it and find out which time they are driving through and it can happen, I am sure they would post it on libertyflames.com (I know you guys miss me!!!)... The greets are pretty cool, we always do the well walk at UNC....

I still think one of the problems with greeting the players is that they only walk 20 feet from the buses to the locker rooms. At all of these other schools people keep mentioning, there is a longer walk where the bus parks away from the locker room and the players walk in from there.
That should make it easier to get going with less distance to cover. At most schools here in Texas there are cheerleaders and several band members playing to enhance the experience.
Leave it to PhillyFan to miss the point. I would merely suggesting ways to enhance this event with the understanding that members of both cheer and band peruse the board.
