selectsmart.com has this quiz up on their website. you answer multiple choice questions on various political subjects and place a level of emphasis on each issue. it takes your results and compares them to mccain, obama, and every other single candidate that has been in the running, including steven colbert!

http://www.selectsmart.com/president/ for the test

i think it would be interesting to see what result everyone gets, so post your top 5 or however much you want to post!

How could they possibly compare you with Colbert? He never had a platform or anything on record. All you've got to go on his complete parody of a TV personality.

man, that took way too long to get to somebody that's still running. Newt is my #7 man and I'd have a tough time voting for any of these other guys over him. Although it'd be a tossup between him and Keyes.

Barack Obama (28%)

Yep, it's the same guy. He's Bob Barr's running mate on the Libertarian ticket.

You can expect it to become an issue if the Dems sweep into office off the November election. Up until this point it has been nothing more than Op-Ed fodder.

My highest candidate which is actually running is McCain at 51%, he was 9th on my total list. Exactly how I feel about the election, McCain since there's noone else.

Obama 27%

I don't think the "Theoretical Ideal Candidate" was a result, but a gauge for your selections to come:)

statistical comparison to the people available.

We should kick off Obama supporters from the board!!!

No, it said "1. Theoretical Ideal Candidate." Then Obama.

Why should Obama supporters be kicked off the board?

Libertarian is the way to go. That is who I have been planning on voting for for a while now, although with McCain being so high on my list I am going to compare the two now to see if Bob Barr or McCain is who I want to vote for.
